Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is Srinivasa Kalyanotsava?
Srinivasa Kalyanotsava (also known as Srinivasa Kalyana or Srinivasa Kalyana Utsava) is a celebration of the celestial wedding of Lord Srinivasa and his consorts Shreedevi and Bhoodevi. 2. What is unique about Srinivasa Kalyana conducted by SVKV — Seattle?SVKV — Seattle plans to conduct Srinivasa Kalyana through the Dasa Sahitya Padhathi. Their music simplified the greatness of the Lord embodied in complex Vedic texts, into hymns and songs such as Lakshmi Shobhane and Bhagyada Lakshmi Baramma, to connect the Lord and His magnificence to the common people through relatable terms.
